As a part of observing this day, on June 26, 2019, a seminar was held by Dr. N. Dinesh, Professor and HOD of Psychiatry at AIMS, and a team of resident doctors. They explained the different forms of drug and alcohol abuse to the students, and made them aware of the various methods of prevention. At the end of the programme, students took a pledge against drug abuse.
