Amrita Vidyalayam, Ernakulam celebrated National Handloom Day on August 7, 2024. The following events were held as part of the celebration.
- Speech by 11th Grade Student: A student from Class XI delivered an informative speech during the assembly.
- Video Presentation: Videos showcasing the following topics were screened:
- Vegetable Printing on Handloom Cotton Cloth
- Handloom Handicraft Making
- Stitching with Woollen Thread
- Chekkutty Dolls: Students also made Chekkutty Dolls, accompanied by a brief discussion about them.
