Sports Day was celebrated amidst the usual enthusiasm and excitement. Shri Shiju A.R., Sub Inspector of Police, Telecommunication Wing, Kochi was the Chief Guest for the programme. Addressing the students, he reminded them about the importance of sports in physical development, and also warned them about the misuse of social media and excessive usage of mobile phones.
A colorful march-past, yoga and karate demonstrations, and a drill display made the programme vibrant. Various sporting events were conducted and medals and trophies were distributed to the winners. This year’s overall trophy was won by Amritamayi House; Anandamayi House was the runner-up. The day concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ridhi Pillai.
