The true spirit of Onam permeated the air as students, teachers and non-teaching staff celebrated the festival at school on September 7th. The colourful pookkalam, the majestic arrival of a puli and the traditional attire worn by all created a festive mood. Thiruvathirakali by teaching and non-teaching staff, vadamvali, onappattu and onasadya were special features of the celebrations. Students also distributed onakkodi as part of the celebration.The value of sharing and caring for those who are less fortunate made the celebration really meaningful on this special occasion. Sampujya Swami Purnamritananda Puri distributed payasam to all the students from KG to Class XII.
