World Environment Day was observed on July 7th. In the morning assembly, Rithiof Class XI-A presented a speech about the importance of the day. Smt. Mini K., Principal of Bhavans Varuna Vidayalaya, Thrikkakkara addressed the students of Class VII, speaking mainly about this year’s World Environment Day theme, “Fight Air Pollution”. She emphasized the need to protect trees and plants which help to purify the air, and the need to reduce the use of vehicles in cities. Later, fruit saplings were distributed to all the students from classes V to XII.
