ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2015

The Annual Sports Meet for the academic year 2015-16 was held on November 27th at our school. Renowned volleyball player, Mr. Kishore Kumar E.K. was the Chief Guest for the programme. The day’s events started with a march past by the four houses, followed by prayer. The School Captain, Anagha Gopi welcomed the gathering. Addressing the students, the Chief Guest reiterated the importance of physical fitness. Sharing his experiences as a volleyball player, he reminded the students about the importance of eating healthy nutritious food. Senior Principal, Vijayalakshmi Madam also spoke on the occasion.

After the inauguration, a variety entertainment program was presented by the students. This included a colourful saree display, demonstrations of taekwondo, archery, aerobics and acrobatics. Various competitions were held and medals and certificates were distributed. Teaching and non-teaching staff also participated in a few events. The vote of thanks was proposed by School Vice-Captain, Aloka Krishna.
